Child Development Associate (UPO)
Learn how to become a professional in early education, focusing on the developmental needs of children up to age 5 and the most effective ways to teach them and care for them. This program is 12 weeks long, M-Thu, 9am - 12pm. UPO courses offer a minimum $900 attendance stipend. Some trainings may offer DOES pay, tokens for transportation, and access to UPO resources like housing and daycare.

- Must be 18+ years of age, have a DC ID, Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, HS Diploma or GED, Proof of Residency, and Proof of Income or Certify No Income.
- CASAS Assessment required. Can be conducted at both intake sites and during registration.
- Background check, drug test, and mental health screening.
