Professional Building Maintenance (UPO)
Framing, plumbing, flooring, painting, electrical, lockwork — we teach you how to work on most any part of a building. This program is 12 weeks long, M-F, 9am - 3pm. UPO courses offer a minimum $900 attendance stipend. Some trainings may offer DOES pay, tokens for transportation, and access to UPO resources like housing and daycare.

- Must be 18+ years of age, have a DC ID, Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, HS Diploma or GED, Proof of Residency, and Proof of Income or Certify No Income.
- CASAS Assessment required.
- Background check, drug test, and mental health screening.

Enrollment dates for FY25 are:
January 2025, April 2025, and June 2025.
