Broadband Telecommunications Network Technician (UPO)
We teach you how to build cables, set up computer and phone networks, install home audio systems, and provide other telecommunication services. This program is 12 weeks long, M-F, 9am - 3pm. UPO courses offer a minimum $900 attendance stipend. Some trainings may offer DOES pay, tokens for transportation, and access to UPO resources like housing and daycare.

Requirements:

- Must be 18+ years of age, have a DC ID, Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, HS Diploma or GED, Proof of Residency, and Proof of Income or Certify No Income.
- CASAS Assessment required. Can be conducted at both intake sites and during registration.
- Background check, drug test, and mental health screening.
