Our commercial driver’s license (CDL) program can get you behind the wheel of a tractor trailer, Metrobus, school bus, dump truck, or other commercial vehicle. The program is 6 weeks, M-F, 9am - 5pm. Electrical Technician (UPO)

Get trained in electrical theory, conduit installation, how to wire a house, and other control, safety, and troubleshooting techniques. The program is 20 weeks long M-F, 6-9pm. IT Support Program (Per Scholas)

Per Scholas provides skills training and access to employer networks to individuals often excluded from tech careers. Their IT Support Program offers rigorous IT training courses, professional coaching, and job placement assistance with access to an employer network of 850+ companies, all at no cost to participants. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

DC residents are eligible for this training program that teaches the skills necessary to prepare for and achieve CompTIA A+ certification. The program is 20 weeks long M-F, 6-9pm. Child Development Associate (UPO)

Learn how to become a professional in early education, focusing on the developmental needs of children up to age 5 and the most effective ways to teach them and care for them. This program is 12 weeks long, M-Thu, 9am - 12pm. UPO courses offer a minimum $900 attendance stipend. Culinary Arts Professional (UPO)

Learn how to prepare, present, serve, and manage food — and get the skills to pass the certified food protection manager exam. This program is 12 weeks long, M-F, 11am - 5pm. Broadband Telecommunications Network Technician (UPO)

We teach you how to build cables, set up computer and phone networks, install home audio systems, and provide other telecommunication services. This program is 12 weeks long, M-F, 9am - 3pm.
