The General Transit Bus Garage Mechanic is responsible for skilled vehicle maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, disassembly, repair, assembly, and instillation of various components such as Automotive/diesel engines, transmissions, and electric/pneumatic/hydraulic parts. They also handle chassis and body repairs for the bus and automotive fleet at WMATA.
