Computer Foundations I: You’re only a beginner until you decide to become something more. Computer Foundations 1 is a great starting place for adults that have little to no experience with computers. Throughout the course, students will create a base for digital success. Once the course is complete, students will be able to perform basic computer tasks in their personal and professional lives. This course also prepares students to move up into higher levels of training with Byte Back. PREREQUISITE: None. This course starts you from the beginning and allows you to move up. TIMING Computer Foundations 1 takes 24 hours in class, usually taught in 2-hour classes, 3 days a week Computer Foundations II: Computer Foundations 2 is a great place to start on the Byte Back training pathway. This course is right for you if you already have some computer skills but want to gain confidence and skills. You will graduate from Foundations 2 with a deep knowledge of common Office software. PREREQUISITE: Pass Computer Foundations 1, pass assessments, and interview TIMING: Computer Foundations 2 takes 54 hours in class, usually 3-hour classes, 3 days per week

Requirements:

Must be 18+ years of age
Must be a DC or Baltimore resident and able to provide proof
High school diploma/GED
